June 2011 Newsletter

Well it appears the rain is slowing and sunshine is predicted for the beginning of June.

Sumps have been working overtime, make sure you check them and the float switch for proper operation. If your sump pump is 10 years or older, it’s a good time to think about replacing it as many times people find out their pump is shot when there basement floods.

If you mention this newsletter during the month of June you will receive $20.00 off the installation of a new Blue Angle Commercial grade sump pump or $40.00 off a Blue Angle battery backup pump system. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office and our friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you have.

For those of you who have always wanted a frost free faucet in your garage or outside of your home, that is not only cold, but hot also, we have a new hot and cold frost free faucet that can easily be installed for the outside cleaning jobs that require hot water or a mix of hot and cold. We will give $20.00 off on all installations of the hot and cold frost free faucet in the month of June. Installation costs vary, for an estimate, please call the office and ask for Doug.

With all the rain, I am betting we will be in a drought by mid July, so keep in mind we have a full line of water saving products, from low flow faucet aerators to low flow shower heads and toilets by American Standard and Gerber.

Those of you that have a pool, if you write down your water meter reading before you fill your pool, write them down after the pool has been filled and call them into your utility department. They will see to it that you don’t pay sewer charges on that amount. It saves me between $25 and $35 on the sewer bill.

Last but not least, Amanda Plumbing would like to thank everyone who voted us Best Plumber in the recent Delaware Gazette Readers Choice Award.
